Nothing unveiled the Phone 2a model that appeals to the budget-friendly market in the past weeks. On top of that, the first information from Nothing Phone 2a Plus, which will compete in the middle level, started to come. What does Phone 2a Plus, which will be introduced on July 31, promise?
Nothing Phone 2a Plus comes with MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro
The Plus version of Phone (2a) will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset. In this context, the processor clock speed is said to be up to 3GHz and will provide an overall performance increase of 10 percent compared to Phone (2a).
The integrated GPU will also experience a 30 percent increase in clock speed. This, Nothing claims, will pave the way for faster graphics processing capability.
The Dimensity 7350 is actually not a Nothing-exclusive chipset. However, the company has said it will partner with MediaTek for a Pro variant that will be exclusive to the Phone 2a. But details on what customizations have been made to the processor remain unclear for now.
In addition to the faster chipset, the Phone (2a) Plus will get a performance boost from 12GB of RAM. It will offer virtual RAM support using spare storage space and will include 8GB of additional virtual RAM.
The Phone 2a was launched as an affordable alternative to Nothing’s flagship Phone 2. Phone 2a was priced at £319 in the UK, while in Turkey it entered the market at around 20 thousand TL. The device, which brought great competition to the middle class, attracted attention with a sales figure of 100 thousand.c
